Important notice on data processing in relation to Google Analytics.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited. If the body responsible for processing the data collected by this website is based outside the European Economic Area and Switzerland, then the processing of data associated with Google Analytics will be carried out by Google LLC (based in the United States). Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC are hereinafter referred to as "Google". Jimdo is responsible for the technical processing of data related to the use of Google Analytics. In this regard, reference is hereby made to the Jimdo privacy policy. Jimdo GmbH (Jimdo GmbH, Stresemannstrasse 375, 22761 Hamburg, [email protected]) and the operator of the site share a dual responsibility for data protection in connection with the use of Google Analytics on the site.

Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on the visitor's computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie (including the truncated IP address) about the use of the website is transmitted to and stored by Google.

Google Analytics is used exclusively with the extension "_anonymizeIp ()" on this website. The extension ensures the anonymization of the IP address by truncation and thus excludes any direct personal reference. With this extension, Google truncates the IP address of visitors to the site who are located in a member state of the European Union or in another state that has signed the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The visitor's full IP address will only be transmitted to Google's server and truncated in the USA in exceptional circumstances. The IP address provided by the Internet browser of the visitor to the site using Google Analytics will not be combined by Google with other Google data.

On behalf of Jimdo and the website operator, Google will use the collected information to evaluate the use of the website, compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other internet or website-related services (Art. 6-1.f GDPR). The interest in processing the data is justified by the optimization of the website, the analysis of its use and the adaptation of its content, which is made possible by Jimdo's statistical function. The interest of the users is duly protected by the pseudonymization of their data.

Google LLC guarantees to maintain an adequate level of data protection in accordance with the European standard contractual clauses. The data sent and coupled with the Google Analytics cookies, such as the user ID and the advertising ID, will be automatically deleted after 50 months. Data that has reached the retention period is automatically deleted once a month.

The visitor to the site can refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate option in the browser. They can also prevent Google from collecting information (including their IP address) via cookies and from processing it by downloading the following plug-in and installing it in their Internet browser: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. 

Visitors to the site can prevent the collection of data by Google Analytics by clicking on this link. An "opt-out" cookie is then placed and allows the visitor to the site not to be tracked during his navigation on the site.
